Telangana district court judge among 11 killed in various road accidents in Andhra Pradesh

Eleven people, including a district judge from Telangana, tragically died in various road accidents in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. The incidents occurred in different locations across the state.

In one incident, District Court Judge Mohan Rao and his driver lost their lives when their car collided with a bus from KVR Travels in Ramavaram village, Jaggampeta mandal in Kakinada. The car then crashed into a bus stop, resulting in the immediate deaths of Judge Mohan Rao and his driver.

Another accident took place in Tirupati, where four people were killed and two others were injured after their car hit a divider on the Putalapattu-Naidupet National Highway at Kongaravaripalle.

In Krishna district, a car crashed into a stationary truck in Kodurpadu of Bapulapadu Mandal, leading to the deaths of Swaminathan (35), Rakesh (12), Radha Priya (14), and Gopi (31) who were traveling in the car. Another person sustained serious injuries in the accident.

A tragic incident also occurred in Guntur, where constable Pilli Sunil Babu lost his life after failing to notice a speed breaker on the road in front of Udaya Hospital near Guntur Inner Ring Road at around 4 am. Sunil, who was posted at Guntur East traffic police station, died on the spot, leaving his colleagues in shock.

Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and State BJP chief D Purandheswari expressed shock and sorrow over the series of accidents, demanding financial assistance for the families of the deceased and better medical treatment for the injured individuals. Naidu specifically mentioned the accidents in Kongavaram, Kodurupadu in Krishna district, and Rayavaram in Kakinada district in his statement.
