The Congress party will discuss the selection of candidates for 19 assembly seats on Monday. They will meet with AICC Secretary KC Venugopal to decide what to do in these competitive positions and discuss the alliance with the Left. TPCC leaders traveled to Delhi on Sunday for this meeting.
The final list of candidates is expected to be released on Monday night or Tuesday after the meeting at the AICC office war room.
The second phase of the Congress-led Vijayabheri Yatra in Telangana will pause today and resume tomorrow. Priyanka Gandhi will join the bus yatra in Nagarjunasagar and Kolhapur. She will also speak at the Palamuru Prajabheri public meeting in Kolhapur. Rahul Gandhi will join the yatra on November 1 and 2.
