In a statement earlier today, CM Reddy shared plans to hold a special event on November 14, which marks the birth anniversary of Chacha Nehru. The event will involve 15,000 students and will address key topics like improving student diets, introducing cosmetic charges in government hostels, and making broader changes to the education system.

During his address, the Chief Minister also talked about a recent visit from students in Khammam district, including those from Vaira and Madhira constituencies. These students, who are part of social welfare hostels and colleges, visited to thank the Chief Minister and had the chance to meet him in person.

CM Revanth Reddy further explained the government’s ongoing reforms in education, such as increasing allowances for student meals and other expenses. He emphasized that these changes aim to provide high-quality education to all students in Telangana and to raise overall educational standards.

Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted the recruitment of 11,062 new teachers and the promotion of 21,000 existing educators. The government is working hard to finish the construction of Integrated Residential Schools in time for the next academic year.

To boost employability, CM Reddy stressed the importance of both education and practical skills. He announced plans to upgrade the state’s ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes) into advanced vocational training centers. He also revealed the creation of the Young India Skills University, which will offer specialized skill development programs for students and unemployed youth.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the state’s commitment to sports. He announced the establishment of a Young India Sports University, which will focus on training students to compete in the Olympics and other international sports events.

On another note, CM Reddy addressed the issue of drug abuse, calling it a serious social problem. He urged everyone to see the fight against narcotics as a shared responsibility, warning that addiction can destroy lives.

In closing, the Chief Minister reminded students that they are the future leaders of Telangana. He encouraged them to actively contribute to the state’s progress and development.

Several important figures attended the event, including Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Government Advisor Shabbir Ali, MPs Porika Balaram Naik, Ramasahaya Raghurama Reddy, Government Whip Aadi Srinivas, and MLA Kale Yadaya, among others.
