Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has asked officials to create a strong plan for issuing new ration cards across the state. He made this decision during a meeting at the Secretariat. The Chief Minister announced that applications for new ration cards will start being accepted from October 2.
Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy also shared their suggestions during the meeting. They stressed the need to ensure every eligible person receives a digital ration card. Another meeting will be held soon to discuss this further.
This initiative is part of the government’s effort to improve the distribution process and make sure all eligible citizens benefit from the welfare schemes.
