A tragic incident occurred in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning, where a 17-year-old girl ended her life by jumping in front of a train on the Jamia Osmania railway tracks. Authorities believe that a love-related issue may have led to the heartbreaking event.
The girl, originally from Pedda Koduru village in Siddipet district, was a second-year intermediate student staying at the Andhra Mahila Sabha hostel on the Osmania University campus. Her family described her as academically strong, showing no apparent signs of distress or depression.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the girl had been in close contact with a young man. On the morning of her death, she reportedly informed him about her intention to take her life and proceeded toward the railway tracks. The young man immediately alerted her friends, but despite their efforts to intervene, she had already passed away. Her body was later found on the tracks by other rail passengers, who notified railway authorities.
The Kacheguda railway police are currently investigating the case to uncover more details about the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
