Technical glitch forces Air Force plane to hover over Begumpet Airport

An Indian Air Force aircraft made a safe landing at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad after facing a technical issue with its hydraulic wheels. The plane, carrying 12 crew members, including two pilots, circled above the airport for about 40 minutes before successfully landing.

The pilots of the aircraft alerted the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the air force base station about the situation. The Air Force base station guided the crew on keeping the plane in the air and fixing the technical glitch mid-air. The pilots were trying to make an emergency landing and had been circling in the air since afternoon.

The pilot noticed a malfunction in the opening mechanism of the front hydraulic wheels while flying with 12 individuals onboard. He promptly alerted the crew, and they worked together to keep the situation under control. After 40 minutes of maneuvering in the sky, the technical problem was resolved, and the aircraft landed safely.

To ensure the safety of all aircraft, clearance for takeoffs and landings was temporarily halted at Hyderabad Airport. Other planes waiting to take off were kept on the ground until the IAF aircraft landed safely.
