Khammam: In response to a call from Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, a prominent Non-Resident Indian (NRI) from Bhadrachalam, Talluri Jayasekhar, has made a significant donation to support flood victims in Khammam district. Jayasekhar, who is the founder of the Talluri Panchaksharaiah Charitable Trust, donated Rs 10 lakh to help those affected by the floods.
In a statement, Jayasekhar mentioned that his trust would also assist children who lost their books and other belongings in the floods. His charitable efforts aim to provide relief to those in need during this difficult time.
Jayasekhar, originally from Irravendi village in Burgampadu mandal in Kothagudem district, has a history of community service. He previously served as the chairman of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA), where he made notable contributions. His trust has been actively supporting various causes in both of the Telugu-speaking states over the past few years.
