T Congress to commence second phase of 'Vijayabheri Yatra' today

The Telangana Congress is starting the second phase of their “Vijayabheri Yatra” from Saturday. During the Yatra, they will visit two to three Assembly constituencies each day and engage with the public through interactions, meetings, and padayatras.

The second phase of the Yatra will cover Tandur, Parigi, Chevella, Sangareddy, Narsapur, Medak, Jangoan, Alair, Bhongir, Nagarjuna Sagar, Kollapur, Kalwakurthy, Jadcherla, Shadnagar, Medchal, Quthbullapur, and Malkajgiri from October 28 to November 2.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar will campaign in Tandur, Parigi, and Chevella today, followed by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge who will campaign in Sangareddy, Narsapur, and Medak tomorrow.

State Congress president A Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and other senior leaders will tour the State, covering 17 Assembly constituencies in six days. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will also participate in the Yatra.

The Yatra will focus on highlighting assembly-level issues, the Congress Abhayahastham guarantee schemes, and the failures of the BRS. The party will also collect grievances and issues from the public through the Yatra and other events. They promise that these grievances will be addressed within 100 days of the party coming to power.

As part of their citizen-centric governance approach, the Congress will launch a ‘Grievance Collection Campaign’. They will set up suggestion boxes at all party offices, establish a toll-free number, and launch a website for registering grievances. The party leaders pledge to create a specialized ‘Grievance Redressal Ministry’ within 100 days of coming to power to address these concerns.
