Swadeshi Mela Promotes Local Artists and Products
The Swadeshi Mela, organized by the Swadeshi Jagarana Manch in Karimnagar, is providing great encouragement to local artists, traders, and products. The event aims to promote self-reliance and support indigenous goods.
Swalambi Bharat Abhiyan Region co-convenor Indrasena Reddy, Swadeshi Jagarana Manch Dakshina Madhya Kshetra Sanghatana Secretary Jagadish, and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Telangana Purva Sangh Mulk Burla Dakshinamurthy highlighted the importance of using Swadeshi products. They stated that buying locally made goods not only benefits the country’s economy but also helps families, villages, and states become self-sufficient.
During the inauguration of the Swadeshi Mela on Wednesday, speakers emphasized that the Swadeshi ideology is key to achieving self-reliance in various fields. They urged people to prefer locally made products over imported ones to reduce dependence on foreign goods.
The event also encouraged manufacturers of indigenous products to take advantage of government schemes and benefits. As part of the Swadeshi Mela, a workshop was organized for polytechnic and engineering students.
Karimnagar Police Training Center Superintendent Sunkara Srinivas and IVY School Chairman Pasuvula Mahesh, who attended the workshop, advised students to focus on both education and entrepreneurship. They shared insights on career growth and provided valuable suggestions to help students shape their future.
Swadeshi Mela in-charge Mukka Harish Babu, along with Gampa Venkat, Kallem Vasudeva Reddy, and others, actively participated in the event, making it a successful initiative to promote self-reliance and local entrepreneurship.
