Hyderabad: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) marked the 76th Republic Day with a special blood donation camp. The event was organised in collaboration with the Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Society and took place at the National Police Academy.
The purpose of the camp was to support individuals affected by thalassaemia, a genetic blood disorder. All the blood donations collected during the event were handed over to the Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Society to aid those in need.
SVPNPA director Amit Garg, along with the president of the Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Society, Dr. Chandrakanth Agarwal, Dr. Chandrashekar, and TGCS joint secretary Aleem Baig, attended the event. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organisers, volunteers, and donors who contributed to the success of the camp.
