Collector Directs Thorough Survey for Indiramma Housing Scheme Beneficiaries
The District Collector of Gadwal, BM Santosh, has instructed officials to carry out a detailed survey to ensure that eligible beneficiaries under the Indiramma Housing Scheme receive their rightful allotments.
On Wednesday, the Collector, along with Additional Collector Narsinga Rao, visited Kondaer village in Itikyala mandal to inspect the survey process, which is being conducted through a mobile app. He explained that the purpose of the survey is to gather information about applicants who have applied for houses under the scheme as part of the government’s public governance initiatives.
During the visit, the Collector personally reviewed how beneficiary details are being entered into the mobile app. He also visited the homes of applicants to collect key information, such as land ownership, the number of married couples in the household, and details about the current housing situation, including whether families live in old houses or temporary shelters. Officials used geo-tagging technology to document the collected information and take photos.
The Collector stressed the importance of accuracy in collecting and uploading beneficiary details through the Indiramma Housing app. He reminded officials to follow the government guidelines and complete the survey within the given timeframe.
Other officials, including District Panchayat Officer Shyam Sundar and MPDO Azhar Mohiuddin, along with several staff members, participated in the program.
