Minister for Forest, Environment and Endowments, Konda Surekha, criticized BRS working president KT Rama Rao for misleading the public by claiming that the Congress government would collapse within 100 days. Konda Surekha spoke to the media on Friday and accused KTR of resorting to cheap tactics and making immature statements because he was unhappy with the Congress party’s implementation of its election promises.
Konda Surekha questioned why KTR was misleading the people when the Congress government had not even completed 100 days in office. She also mentioned that the BRS leaders had lost credibility as they were involved in corruption and neglected unemployed youth over the past ten years. She highlighted that both former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao and KTR were anxious after the announcement of a judicial inquiry into irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. The Congress government is determined to recover misused public funds from BRS leaders and hold accountable those involved in the irregularities.
Konda Surekha further criticized the BRS government for purchasing 22 Land Cruiser vehicles before the Assembly polls without informing anyone, despite not having enough money to pay employee salaries. She emphasized that the BRS leaders were unable to accept the effective governance of the Congress and had resorted to spreading negativity about the newly formed government.
