Hyderabad: The deadline for submitting nominations for the Governor’s Awards for Excellence-2024 has been extended to November 30. This decision was made following popular demand from aspirants.
The awards aim to recognize individuals, institutions, organizations, societies, and trusts that have made outstanding contributions in the past five years, starting from 2019. Initially, the last date for submissions was November 23, but it has now been pushed to November 30.
These prestigious awards are presented in four categories: Environment Protection, Welfare of Divyangjan, Sports and Games, and Culture. The extension of the deadline gives more time for aspirants to prepare and submit their nominations by 5:00 PM on November 30, 2024. Submissions are accepted through both online and offline modes.
To submit nominations offline, applicants need to download the prescribed form from the Telangana Raj Bhavan website (https://governor.telangana.gov.in). The completed forms, along with all supporting documents, should be sent to “The Principal Secretary to the Governor, Governor’s Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Somajiguda, Hyderabad – 500041” via speed post or in person.
For online submissions, applicants can upload the nomination forms and required documents directly on the Telangana Raj Bhavan website. This initiative aims to honor and encourage remarkable achievements in the four specified fields.
