The State Government of Rajasthan, under Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, plans to increase the state’s economy by 2.5 times by 2030 through a program called ‘Mission 2030’. To achieve this goal, the government will seek suggestions from 1 crore residents of the state, including various professionals and citizens such as economists, authors, journalists, students, government employees, advocates, farmers, labourers, women, youth, intellectuals, and sportspersons. These suggestions will be used to create a vision document for Mission 2030.
During a state-level function at the Sawai Man Singh stadium in Jaipur, Gehlot announced that the state’s economy was around Rs 9.11 lakh crore in 2018-19 and has now grown to around Rs 14.14 lakh crore. The aim is to further increase it to Rs 35.71 lakh crore by 2030. Gehlot emphasized the importance of each Rajasthani taking a resolution to contribute to the progress of the state in every sector and make Rajasthan the leading state in the country.
