Hyderabad: Key Cabinet Meeting on December 30
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has announced a state cabinet meeting scheduled for December 30. This meeting will focus on several major decisions, including the launch of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, financial aid for landless laborers, and the issuance of white ration cards. Another significant topic on the agenda is the approval of the recently completed caste census.
The Cabinet Subcommittee, led by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, is currently working on the details of the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Their recommendations are expected to be presented during the meeting. Under this scheme, farmers will receive Rs 7,500 per acre as input cost assistance, which is set to be rolled out after the Sankranti festival.
In addition to this, a new initiative will provide Rs 12,000 in financial aid to landless laborer families. Sources revealed that the first installment of Rs 6,000 will be distributed soon. The cabinet will also review data from the caste census to make decisions about local body elections and establish special quotas for underrepresented communities.
The state’s financial condition and strategies to raise funds for speeding up development projects will also be key discussion points. The cabinet aims to ensure that all promises made to the public are fulfilled efficiently.
