Hyderabad: State Information and Public Relations and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that the state cabinet expansion will be completed by December 31 this year.

During an informal discussion with reporters, the Minister shared that the party high command is expected to make a final decision on the long-delayed cabinet expansion soon. He assured that the process would be concluded before the end of this month.

The Minister also stated that the government plans to introduce the RoR (Record of Rights) Act during the ongoing Assembly session. This act aims to strengthen the state’s revenue system. He added, “We will bring the VRO system before Sankranti,” and mentioned that details of land encroachments in Medchal and Ranga Reddy districts will be revealed once the RoR Act comes into effect.

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy expressed strong disapproval of KCR, the leader of the opposition, not attending the Assembly session. Additionally, he announced that all ministers and officials would attend a lunch program at welfare residential schools on December 14.

To address financial issues, the government has also decided to clear pending bills from the last two years by the end of December.
