DSC exams have started after seven years in Hyderabad. On the first day, many candidates were outside exam centers. Despite protests, the exams went smoothly.
School officials said the exams went well without any issues in Telangana. 85% of candidates took the exams in 54 centers across 14 districts. The government announced 11,056 teaching posts on February 29, with 2,79,956 candidates applying despite requests to postpone the exams.
Over 2 lakh candidates are expected to take the online exams in 54 centers across 14 districts. Candidates found the question paper easy and suggested adding more teaching posts. Some students protested at the Secretariat, claiming some candidates were not allowed to take the exams.
They demanded a postponement due to lack of preparation time, as other exams were held recently.
