As of 05 April 2023, petrol and diesel prices in India have remained stable. In Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs. 96.72 per litre while diesel costs Rs. 89.62 per litre. Meanwhile, Hyderabad has petrol prices at Rs. 109.66 per litre and diesel at Rs. 97.82 per litre. Chennai’s petrol price per litre is Rs. 102.65 while diesel is priced at Rs. 94.24 per litre. Mumbai’s petrol price is at Rs. 106.31 per litre while diesel remains at Rs. 97,28 per litre. Bangalore’s petrol price is at Rs. 101.94 per litre and diesel costs Rs. 87.89 per litre.

India relies heavily on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel, which means that crude prices have a significant impact on fuel rates in the country. However, other factors such as increasing demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio also play a role in determining domestic fuel prices.

It’s important to note that the fuel prices mentioned above are due at 6 am and are subject to change at any time as petroleum companies will adjust the fuel prices based on crude oil prices.
