The Telangana Board of Secondary Education is ready to conduct the SSC public examination starting Friday. The Education Department has made all the necessary arrangements to ensure the exams go smoothly.
Around 5,09,403 students, including 2.58 lakh boys and 2.50 lakh girls, will take the exam across Telangana.
The exams will be held from March 21 to April 4 at 2,650 exam centres across the state. To manage the process, 28,100 invigilators, 2,650 chief superintendents, and departmental officers have been assigned examination duties.
A senior official from the Board of Secondary Education said that special arrangements have been made due to rising temperatures. A control room has been set up to monitor the exams. For the first time, Class X question papers will have QR (Quick Response) codes and unique security numbers to improve security and prevent leaks. Students will also get an extra five-minute grace period. The exams will begin at 9:30 AM, and latecomers will be allowed to enter only until 9:35 AM.
To help students, RTC buses will run before and after the exams. Also, all Xerox shops near the exam centres will remain closed during the exam period.
