IT Minister Announces Grand Public Meeting in Peddapalli
Peddapalli: IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu has announced that the “Yuva Shakti Yuva Vikasa Vijayotsava Sabha” will be held in Peddapalli on Wednesday in a grand manner. The announcement was made during a press briefing at MLA Chinthakunta Vijayaramana Rao’s camp office on Tuesday, where he was joined by MLAs Adluri Laxman Kumar and Makkan Singh Raj Thakur.
At the public meeting, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to make significant announcements. These include a clear statement regarding the construction of the Pattipaka Reservoir, for which funds will be allocated for a survey. Other announcements will include the establishment of an RTC Bus Depot in Peddapalli and a new police station at Eligedu, along with rural, women, and traffic police stations in Peddapalli.
The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stones for several development projects in the district. These include the construction of Peddapalli and Sultanabad bypass roads, Rs 60 crore worth of R&B roads, and the completion of pending R&B roads in Manthani. Additionally, the CM will initiate the construction of a high-level bridge over the Manair River at Roopnarayanapet in Odela mandal.
Minister Sridhar Babu emphasized that steps will be taken to complete the Bandlavagu Lift Irrigation works in Brahmanapalli under Antargam mandal. The foundation stone will also be laid for upgrading the Manthani government hospital to a 100-bed facility. Additionally, a 30-bed hospital will be constructed in Gunjapadugu, and the Peddapalli hospital will be upgraded from a 50-bed to a 150-bed facility.
In a significant move, 500 Singareni job appointment letters, along with group-4 and other job appointment letters, will be distributed to about 8,500 youths by the Chief Minister.
The Minister urged farmers, youth, women, and citizens from across the district to attend the meeting in large numbers and make it a grand success.
Prominent leaders including former MLA Arepalli Mohan, Janak Prasad, Prakash Reddy, Annayya Goud, Eerla Swaroopa, Ootla Varaprasad, Bushanaveni Suresh Goud, Bandari Rammurthy, Nugilla Mallaiah, Masrat, Sarwar Pasha, and Mudusu were also present at the meeting to discuss preparations.
