    Hyderabad: The Minister of IT, Industries, and Legislative Affairs, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, has stated that the State Government is focused on improving infrastructure. On Tuesday, he, along with other officials, inaugurated several development projects worth ₹41.19 crores in the Uppal Circle of the LB Nagar Zone.

    In Ramanthapur Ward, the Minister laid the foundation stone for various projects. These include the construction of sewerage and CC roads costing ₹88.80 lakh and the construction of the first floor of Ramanthapur Rajaka Seva Sangam and Ambedkar Seva Sangam for ₹1 crore. Additionally, sewerage pipelines will be laid in Balakrishna Nagar and KTR Nagar at a cost of ₹20 crore.

    In Uppal, Sridhar Babu launched multiple infrastructure projects. These include a water supply system, sewerage system strengthening, and infrastructure development in Bhagayat Phase 1 at a cost of ₹25.43 crore. Other projects include the construction of CC roads and retaining walls in different colonies for ₹6.26 crore. Sewerage remodeling, stormwater drain work, and CC roads in Bharat Nagar Ramalayam Colony will cost ₹1.52 crore. Remodeling of sewerage lines in various colonies will cost ₹4.88 crore.

    The Minister also announced that the construction of the Uppal–Narapalli flyover will be sped up. He spoke about plans for a new IT corridor connecting Uppal to Ghatkesar, expanding metro rail services across Hyderabad, and introducing eco-friendly buses.

    Efforts will be made to clean the Musi River and address problems faced by residents in the Musi catchment area. Additionally, the Minister mentioned the establishment of the Young India Skill University, which will be a unique institution in the country.

    The event was attended by Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Gautam Potru, LB Nagar Zonal Commissioner Hemant Keshav Patil, corporators, and other officials.
