Vaikunta Ekadashi Celebrations in NagarKurnool
In NagarKurnool district, all arrangements are in place for the grand celebration of Vaikunta Ekadashi at the Sri Goda Sametha Ranganatha Swamy Temple in Sripuram. The sacred Uttara Dwara Darshanam, which involves the opening of the northern gate, will begin early in the morning at 5:30 AM on Friday. Special rituals and the Garuda Pallaki Seva will be conducted before the darshan.
The event is expected to witness the participation of several dignitaries, including District Collector Badavath Santosh Kumar, District SP Vaibhav Raghunath Gaikwad, judges, public representatives, political leaders, and a large number of devotees. In preparation for the celebrations, temple authorities have made extensive arrangements to accommodate the influx of visitors.
The temple has been beautifully decorated for the occasion, with the Uttara Dwaram, which opens only once a year, adorned with vibrant and colorful flowers. Additionally, large quantities of prasadam have been prepared to distribute among the thousands of devotees expected to attend the event.
To ensure safety and maintain order, police have implemented tight security measures. They have put precautions in place to prevent any untoward incidents during the celebrations, ensuring a peaceful and spiritual experience for all attendees.
