Devotees Celebrate Sri Gopala Dasulu’s Ratha Utsavam in Uttanoor
On Wednesday, devotees gathered to celebrate the grand Ratha Utsavam, honoring the renowned saint and composer Sri Gopala Dasulu of Uttanoor, Karnataka. The event, conducted as part of the Madhwaradhana festivities, was filled with devotion and reverence.
A chariot procession was the highlight of the celebration. The utsava idol of the deity was carried from Sri Gopala Dasulu’s ancestral home in Uttanoor village, Aija Mandal, to the Sri Dhanvantari Venkateshwara Swamy Temple.
The procession was vibrant and spiritual, with devotees chanting Harinama Sankeertanas along the way. A large number of devotees from different regions participated, offering prayers and fulfilling vows to the deity.
The event was organized by the Sri Gopala Dasula Moola Samsthana Trust. Prasadam was served to all attendees as part of the celebrations. Members of Sri Gopala Dasulu’s family and numerous devotees came together to make the occasion truly special.
