A Block-Level Sports Meet was recently held at the Government Science Degree College in Nagarkurnool. The event was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra in collaboration with Mera Yuva Bharat. Students from the college actively participated in various sports activities under the guidance of Nehru Yuva Kendra members and college faculty.
The sports meet featured events like Kabaddi, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Running, and Shot Put. Separate competitions were arranged for boys and girls to ensure fair participation. Students showcased their talents and competed enthusiastically in their respective categories.
At the end of the event, prizes were distributed to students who secured the first and second positions in the competitions. The event was attended by Nehru Yuva Kendra District Coordinator S. Rajender Goud, College Principal M. Anjayya, and other faculty members, along with non-teaching staff.
This sports meet not only encouraged physical activity but also fostered teamwork and sportsmanship among the students.
