The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board (HMWS&SB) held a training program for selected assistants on Friday. The program aimed to teach ward assistants how to solve complaints from consumers while working with various departments. The Water Board Managing Director, Dana Kishore, explained that the assistants will work to take petitions from people to the attention of the concerned section manager and resolve them. They will also use the customer care center, online Twitter, and other social media to solve complaints.
Complaints will be registered in the MCC, and information will be given to complainants until the problem is resolved. The ward assistants will coordinate with other departments at the field level to solve drinking water and sewage problems recorded at the ward level. One assistant will be appointed from HMWS&SB regarding drinking water supply and sewage management. They will receive complaints from the people and take them to the higher authorities to work hard to solve them.
