Gadwal Police Urged to Work Responsibly
District Superintendent of Police (SP) T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, has reminded police officers and staff to serve the public with accountability and responsibility. He gave these instructions during the Public Grievance Redressal Program (Praja Vani) held at the district police headquarters on Monday.
During the event, DSP Mogilayya and circle inspectors from Gadwal, Alampur, and Shantinagar received complaints from ten petitioners across different mandals. SP Srinivasa Rao personally contacted police station Sub-Inspectors (SIs) over the phone, asking them to prepare detailed reports and conduct thorough investigations to resolve the complaints properly.
SP Srinivasa Rao emphasized that police officers must respond quickly to people’s grievances. He stated that prompt and fair action would help build public trust in the police. He also pointed out that all complaints are recorded online and monitored daily to ensure transparency and effective resolution.
The district police assured the public of their commitment to delivering justice and maintaining law and order. Citizens were encouraged to approach the police without hesitation whenever they needed assistance.
