South Telangana State receives abundant funding amidst heavy rainfall in Hyderabad.

Government funds are being allocated to four districts in South Telangana. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is focusing on the development of Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, and Ranga Reddy districts in order to gain support for the upcoming Assembly elections. Special funds have already been allocated to Khammam and Nalgonda, and more funds will be announced for the other two districts at the inauguration of the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Scheme on September 16. Rs 100 crore has been sanctioned for Khammam district for various development programs. The Transport Minister, P Ajay, received these orders from KT Rama Rao at Pragati Bhavan.

The funds were released to Khammam through the Telangana Urban Finance Infrastructure Development Corporation for immediate implementation of development projects. KCR is giving importance to Khammam due to recent political developments in the district. More funds were released on the request of the minister. Similarly, KCR also considered the plea for more funds in Nalgonda district and released them for pending development works. During his visit to Suryapet district, he announced the allocation of funds to local bodies and municipality.

Major developments are expected in old Mahbubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts as well. KCR reviewed the development of these districts with ministers and legislators and prepared a development document for more schemes. The focus is to retain all seats won by BRS in the 2018 assembly polls. Development in the farm sector has already taken place, and now attention will be given to village and urban development to address the grievances of the local people.
