Hyderabad Hosts 10-Day Patola Art Exhibition
A 10-day Patola art exhibition was inaugurated in Hyderabad by socialite Alekhya Reddy. The event is being held at Labels Pop-up Space, located at Road No. 1, opposite Taj Krishna in Banjara Hills. Alekhya expressed her excitement, saying, “It’s wonderful to see a variety of apparel, especially Patola art saris, pure handloom, and silk products, all showcased under one roof.”
The exhibition features a wide range of traditional and exquisite clothing. Visitors can find Patan Patola, Banarasi, Zari Kota, Chanderi, Kashmiri, Maheshwari, Venkatagiri Pattu, Kanchi Pattu, Lucknowi saris, and dress materials, among other items.
In addition to these, the event highlights exclusive collections such as single Patan saris, silk tissue Patola, Rajkot saris, Patola dupattas, and single Patola dupattas. Silk saree weavers and cooperative societies from various states across India are participating to showcase their unique creations.
The exhibition, organized by Bhavin, will run until January 27, 2025. It provides an excellent opportunity for saree enthusiasts and lovers of traditional handloom to explore and purchase these stunning pieces of art.
