Smart Solution Adopted by FFF to Safeguard Players Against Online Harassment

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) has introduced an anti-cyberbullying and hate speech tool to protect tennis players from online abuse during the Roland Garros tournament. The technology, provided by Bodyguard.ai, is designed to monitor public comments on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and will be available to all players in the competition and the official FFT and Roland-Garros accounts. Players need only scan a QR code before connecting to their social media accounts. Private messages will not be moderated for General Data Protection Regulation reasons. The technology will also provide daily reports to organisers and alert them in real time to any identified attacks.
