Today, an awareness conference was held at the District Government Degree Women’s College in Wanaparthy. This event was organized by the Wanaparthy District She Teams to educate students about various safety concerns. The Wanaparthy District Superintendent of Police (SP), Ravula Giridhar IPS, along with Principal Eswariah and Vice Principal Ramaraju Yadav, attended as chief guests.

During the event, SP Ravula Giridhar addressed the women and discussed important topics such as sexual harassment, sexual assaults, anti-ragging measures, suicides, cyber crimes, the T-Safe application, and the trafficking of girls. He emphasized the importance of being aware of the latest laws designed to protect women. The Telangana State Police Department has established She Teams in each sub-division to ensure the safety of women. The SP highlighted that these teams act as a protective shield for women and students, particularly in times of crisis.
