Hyderabad experienced heavy rainfall across many areas of the city, causing water to collect in low-lying places. This led to traffic problems and made daily life difficult for many residents.
Among the areas that received the most rain, Himayatnagar recorded the highest with 9.1 cm. Charminar followed closely with 9 cm. Other places that saw a lot of rain include Saroor Nagar (8.9 cm), Nampally (8.8 cm), Musheerabad (8.7 cm), and Amberpet (8.5 cm).
Bandlaguda also recorded 8.1 cm of rainfall, while Charminar and Shaikpet reported 8.3 cm and 8 cm, respectively. In addition, Balanagar received 7.7 cm, Marredpally got 7.6 cm, and another part of Amberpet had 7.4 cm of rain.
The heavy rains caused waterlogging in several neighborhoods, making travel difficult and affecting normal routines. Authorities have asked people to be careful and avoid areas with standing water.
