Yuvaan S Hiremath, a true animal lover, celebrated his seventh birthday by adopting seven species of animals at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad. The animals he adopted include an African lioness, a great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, a crocodile, an owl, an ostrich, a wolf, and a lion-tailed macaque. He presented a cheque for Rs 75,000 to the zoo for their adoption and welfare for one month.
Inspired by his wildlife enthusiast parents, Yuvaan’s gesture of adopting animals sets a benchmark for the welfare of wild animals. He emphasized the importance of wildlife conservation and encouraged children to take initiative in this regard.
Yuvaan expressed his gratitude to the management of Nehru Zoological Park for providing the opportunity for the animal adoption scheme. He highlighted the significance of individuals contributing to wildlife conservation and expressed pride in adopting seven animals on his seventh birthday.

The animal adoption scheme at the zoo is becoming increasingly popular, allowing individuals to adopt animals for varying periods by either submitting a cheque or making an online payment.
Nehru Zoological Park is registered under 80G and is eligible for CSR activities, providing an opportunity for individuals, companies, and corporations to claim Income Tax exemption or donate funds under CSR.
