Officials were directed to conduct more thorough field inspections. These inspections will focus on ensuring the proper functioning of key safety-related systems, such as signalling, engineering, and station assets.
The meeting also stressed the need to closely monitor ongoing third-line construction projects and maintenance work at private railway sidings. These efforts aim to enhance the efficiency and safety of railway operations.
