The State Department of Education has declared summer holidays for schools from April 24 to June 11. All schools will have 49 days off and will resume classes on June 11.
Efforts are underway to enhance school infrastructure and amenities during the summer break at a cost of Rs 1,100 crore. The work is scheduled to be completed by June 5, before schools reopen.
On the other hand, junior colleges under the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education have already begun their summer vacation from March 31 to May 31. They will start classes again on June 1.
