Nagar Kurnool: The 194th birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Government Science Degree College in Nagar Kurnool. Students and faculty members gathered to pay tribute to her by offering flowers to her portrait, honoring her remarkable legacy.
During the event, female teachers spoke about the life and work of Savitribai Phule. They highlighted her significant contributions to advancing women’s education and promoting social equality. The occasion also included celebrations for Women’s Teachers’ Day, as per government directives.
The college principal, Anjayya, along with other staff members, recognized and honored the female teachers for their contributions. Principal Anjayya encouraged everyone, especially women, to follow the ideals of Savitribai Phule. He emphasized the importance of education for women, aligning with her vision for empowerment through learning.
