Former minister KTR visited Sircilla district in Karimnagar on Tuesday. He went to the houses of many BRS leaders in the city and then attended a felicitation program for the sarpanchs at the BRS party’s district office. During the program, KTR emphasized that positions are temporary and what matters is how well one has performed while in office. He mentioned that people may find it hard to believe that KCR did not become Chief Minister solely because of his good work in various areas such as waste management, green spaces, and development projects.

KTR also commended the sarpanchs for their hard work in making the state ODF Plus (open defecation free plus). He proudly stated that Telangana has received 82 awards since 2014, with 30 percent of national awards going to the state. He specifically praised the performance of the sarpanchs, highlighting that 19 villages from the state are among the top twenty in the country under the Pradhan Mantri Samsad Awas Yojana scheme. KTR also expressed his willingness to discuss pending bills with the government.
