The Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad is set to host a Summer Art Camp in 2023, as part of its educational activities. The camp will take place from May 1 to May 17 and is open to school children between the ages of 8 and 15. Participants will be categorized into two groups: juniors aged 8-11 and seniors aged 12-15. The camp will offer a range of activities including yoga, art of living, national integration, Indian arts, heritage awareness, museum awareness, drawing with pastels and pencils, painting with crayons and watercolors, art and craft, and creating clay models and pottery. The museum will also organize special lectures, film screenings, and other educational programs. All participants will receive museum kits, but priority will be given to those who have not participated in the last two years. The fee for the camp is Rs 700 and is non-refundable. Interested students can obtain the application form from the museum’s reception counter and must submit it by April 24. The final list of selected candidates will be announced on April 25.
