In Hyderabad, the Sahara Stats Welfare Association and Igniting Minds-Walk for Water organization joined forces to conduct a Water Crisis Awareness Walk in the Sahara Stats gated community, LB Nagar. The walk took place on Sunday morning with 75 residents participating from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. The main goal was to raise awareness about conserving water resources and reducing wasteful practices. Participants discussed the importance of using water wisely, especially since the water is sourced from over 180 kilometers away. Everyone at the walk pledged to consume water responsibly and spread awareness about responsible water usage habits to their families, friends, and neighbors.

Srikanth, the President of the Sahara Estate Welfare Association, highlighted the significance of valuing water resources to avoid a future water scarcity. He stressed the need for collective efforts and small changes in daily routines to ensure a sustainable future for upcoming generations.
