Rs 11,600 crore boost for YII Schools across the state

The Telangana government has made a big decision to improve education in the state. On Sunday, it announced that Rs 11,600 crore will be used to build 55 Young India Integrated Residential Schools.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu shared this news at a press conference in Hyderabad. He was joined by Ministers Komatireddy Venkata Reddy and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. Bhatti Vikramarka thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for approving the funds. He said that these schools will help students grow into future leaders and contribute to global organizations.

The Deputy CM also mentioned that no private school in the country matches the quality of these government residential schools. Earlier, the government had funded three such schools, but now 55 more will be built. Each school will have a modern sports complex and a housing area for teachers.

These schools will provide international-standard digital education. They will have well-equipped labs, a library, and even a mini-theatre. The goal is to support students from poor and middle-class families who cannot afford expensive private schools. The syllabus is also being designed to help students compete at a global level.
