Dr. Raja Rami’s surgical video, titled “Macular holes with proliferative diabetic retinopathy: Fixing two problems with one shot,” was selected among 79 entries from around the world at the Film Festival during the meeting. The video showcases successful surgeries performed by Dr. Reddy on patients with macular holes and proliferative diabetic retinopathy. It was well-received and won the Rhett Buckler award.
The Rhett Buckler award is a prestigious 24-carat gold plated statuette presented to retina specialists for their surgical skills and innovation. Dr. Raja Rami Reddy expressed his gratitude for receiving this honor and emphasized his team’s dedication to excellence in retina surgery.
