Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has ignored the Supreme Court’s judgment on the classification of Scheduled Castes (SC). His decision to divide the SC community has raised concerns about disturbing the unity of Dalits.

Even the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is often accused of such actions, has not shown this level of interest in dividing the SC community. However, Revanth Reddy’s move is being seen as a direct attack on the Indian Constitution and the ideology of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

The national census has not yet been completed, and there is no official data on caste numbers, social and educational progress, or political representation. Despite this, Revanth Reddy has suddenly announced the bifurcation of SCs. This decision appears to align with the policies of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which has historically been accused of trying to divide marginalized communities.

As a Scheduled Caste organization, we strongly oppose this bill. We believe this move is unconstitutional and harmful to the unity of SCs. We must take a stand and teach the Congress party a serious lesson for attempting to implement such policies.
