Highlighting the importance of railway development for the nation’s growth, Revanth Reddy emphasized how Telangana relies on an efficient rail network. He requested the Centre’s cooperation in constructing a greenfield highway and a direct railway network to connect Hyderabad with Bandar Port, which he described as essential for boosting the state’s connectivity and economy.

The Chief Minister also discussed plans to develop a 370-kilometer Regional Ring Road (RRR) in Telangana. He appealed to the Prime Minister for assistance in constructing both the RRR and a Regional Ring Rail, which would significantly improve transportation infrastructure in the state.

Revanth Reddy further informed the Prime Minister that the state government had submitted proposals for the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II project. He expressed confidence that the project could be completed swiftly with the Centre’s support, underlining its importance for urban mobility and economic growth.

Additionally, the Chief Minister requested help in building several new railway lines. These include a line from Vikarabad to Krishna district, another between Kalwakurthy and Macherla, and two more from Dornakal. He directed state officials to work closely with the Centre to secure speedy approvals and funding for these capital-intensive projects.

In concluding remarks, Revanth Reddy announced plans to meet with leaders of AIMIM to discuss developmental schemes aimed at improving the infrastructure and economy of Hyderabad’s “original city” areas.
