Revanth sees LS polls as a referendum on 100-day rule

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that the Congress party in the state will ask people for their opinion on his three-month rule. He believes no party can disrupt his government in the future. Some leaders are only predicting the fall of his government because they want power.

Revanth Reddy clarified that his government is not corrupt, so there is no need for any “surgical strike” against it. He mentioned that his government is investigating corruption in projects done by the previous government. He accused Telangana BJP leaders of misleading Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister also mentioned that the National Dam Security Authority is looking into corruption allegations related to the Medigadda barrage. The government will take legal action based on the authority’s report. Revanth Reddy emphasized that he is not like former Chief Minister KCR, and he will rely on experts for technical issues.

He confirmed that the government is committed to building the Tumadihatti lift irrigation project, despite facing challenges in acquiring land in Maharashtra. Revanth Reddy defended his statement that Modi is like an elder brother, and he asked the Prime Minister to address pending issues under the State Reorganisation Act. He also requested assistance for expanding the Metro rail project and developing the Musi riverfront.
