Telangana’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, visited the Maha Buddha Vihar in Secunderabad to show his support for Buddha’s teachings of peace and mindfulness. CM Reddy praised the lasting importance of the Buddhist doctrine, which has remained relevant for over 2,500 years.
During his visit, CM Reddy emphasized the need to respect Buddhist monks in Telangana and highlighted the value of approaching tasks with a meditative mindset. He announced plans to use funds from the Special Development Fund to build a meditation hall and establish a school to promote Buddhist teachings.
CM Revanth Reddy also spoke about the growing intolerance and jealousy in society, stressing the significance of Buddha’s teachings in today’s competitive world. He promised to support initiatives that spread Buddha’s message to all community members, showing his government’s dedication to helping with such efforts.
