Hyderabad: The Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, has assured the Kurma community that they will receive their fair share of reservation based on their population once the ongoing caste census is completed. He described the survey as a comprehensive “mega health checkup” of society, stating that 98% of the work has already been finished and the process is in its final stages.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Doddi Komaraiah Kurma Bhavan in Kokapet on Saturday, Revanth Reddy emphasized that the Telangana government has prioritized the caste survey to ensure fair political representation for all communities. He reiterated that, upon the survey’s completion, the Kurma community would receive their rightful share of opportunities and representation according to their population.
