Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to address his first public meeting in Warangal on November 19. This event is part of the “Praja Palana Vijayotsavalu” celebrations, which marks the completion of one year by the Congress-led state government.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate the Kaloji Kalakshetram and launch several development schemes. Additionally, he will interact with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and deliver a speech at a public meeting at the Arts College grounds.
A high-level meeting took place at the Secretariat on Friday to plan the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s trip. Endowments and Forest Minister Konda Surekha, along with Advisor to the Chief Minister Vem Narender Reddy and Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, discussed details like the route map, stage setup, parking, and other logistics with the officials.
Konda Surekha stressed the importance of ensuring convenient parking so women won’t have to walk long distances. Advisor Vem Narender Reddy emphasized the need to highlight the government’s achievements over the past year, particularly in the areas of women’s and children’s development. He also called for a strong publicity campaign through print, electronic, and social media to raise awareness about the upcoming event in Warangal.
Several key officials, including Special Chief Secretary R&B Vikas Raj, Advisor to Government Srinivas Raju, Principal Secretary Finance Sandeep Kumar Sultania, and Commissioner I&PR Harish, were present, along with district collectors and other senior officers.
