Revanth, Eatala, and KCR: Three Titans Prepare to Clash

The upcoming Assembly constituencies in Kamareddy and Gajwel are going to be a big political battleground. TPCC President A Revanth Reddy and BJP senior leader E Rajendar are preparing to compete against BRS Supremo K Chandrashekar Rao in these segments. The three parties are strategizing to win the elections in these constituencies. KCR has assigned the responsibility of managing the challenges in these two constituencies to BRS working president KT Rama Rao and senior leader T Harish Rao. KTR has been meeting with different communities, as well as local youth and women groups in Kamareddy. Harish Rao is making quick political moves to show BRS’s dominance in the poll campaign. The leaders believe that BRS is strong in the two Assembly segments where KCR is contesting. The Congress and BJP are not in a position to face KCR in these segments. The Congress is weakened, and the BJP lacks cadre in Gajwel. The chances of the two national parties forfeiting deposits are high as people support KCR.

Many voters in Kamareddy are supporting KCR after he announced his decision to contest from this segment. Revanth Reddy, the Congress candidate, will face difficulties in consolidating the party as many local leaders are joining BRS. KTR has launched “Operation Akarsh” to attract BJP and Congress local leaders. Special BRS teams have been formed at the village level to convince voters to support the party.

In Gajwel, Rajendar is working hard to prove his political prowess, similar to what he achieved in Huzurabad Assembly segment. However, his major challenge is to establish a BJP cadre in the second contesting segment, as the party is not strong enough there. Revanth, who lost the Kodangal election to BRS in 2018, is determined to make his political presence felt in these two Assembly segments.

Facing KCR in these two constituencies is not going to be easy for Revanth and Rajendar. KCR is already making efforts to defeat them, and his master strategy needs to be decoded by the rivals in order to face him strongly in the election.
