Khammam: A new welcome song released by the Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam is receiving a lot of praise from devotees. The song celebrates Sri Ram Navami, the birthday of Lord Rama, and highlights the special occasion of his marriage to Sita, which is performed at the temple according to traditional Agamasastra customs.
The song was officially launched by the state Governor, Jishnu Dev Varma, in Hyderabad during the Ugadi festival. It invites devotees to come and witness the sacred wedding of Lord Rama and Sita in Bhadrachalam. The song poetically describes how Janakapuri, the kingdom of Sita’s father, has become today’s Bhadragiri, where the temple now stands.
Preparations are in full swing at the Bhadrachalam temple for the upcoming Sri Ram Navami celebrations on April 6, followed by the coronation ceremony the next day. The temple is being beautifully decorated for the event.
The welcome song was written by the well-known writer STG Antarvedi Krishnamacharya from the Devastanam Ramayana Pathak. It was sung by famous vocalist Nemani Parthasaradhi and has quickly gained popularity on social media.
According to TV Ramana, an elderly devotee from the temple town, no other song in the history of Bhadrachalam has ever captured the beauty and grandeur of Lord Rama’s wedding like this one. Many devotees who have listened to the song are congratulating the writer and sharing their appreciation online.
