The village of Sankapuram celebrated the birth anniversary of spiritual guru Ramakrishna Paramahamsa with great enthusiasm on Saturday. The event was organized by the Ramakrishna Seva Samithi.
As part of the celebrations, a newly built Ramakrishna Meditation Hall was inaugurated in the village. Inside the hall, a portrait of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was placed and garlanded as a mark of respect. Devotees took part in special pujas and bhajans, creating a spiritual atmosphere. After the rituals, theertha prasadam was distributed to everyone present.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramakrishna Seva Samithi member Satyanarayana Krishna highlighted the teachings of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. He explained that the guru believed all religions convey the same truth and encouraged people to embrace spiritual values and devotion.
Many members of the Ramakrishna Seva Samithi, including Gopal, Brahmaiah, Veerabhadrudu, and Ramudu, participated in the event. Several villagers, such as Kamal, Eshwaranna Goud, Thimmappa, Pullaki Ramudu, Nagaraju, Narasimhulu, and Veeranna Goud, also joined the celebrations. The event reflected unity, devotion, and spiritual harmony among the villagers.
