Sigalla Raju, a resident of Lakshminagar in IDA Bollaram, Sangareddy district, played a crucial role in saving many people during the recent Falaknuma Express train accident. However, on Tuesday, he fell seriously ill and fainted while no family members were around. His mother became suspicious when he did not answer the phone and found him unconscious at home. He was immediately taken to Mallareddy Hospital in Suraram, where his mother Parvati explained that he was experiencing chest pain and a headache.
Raju, originally from Srikakulam district, has been working at a company in IDA Bollaram for ten years. During a recent journey on the Falaknuma Express train from Parlaki, a fire broke out near Bhuvanagiri. Raju sensed the danger ahead of time and pulled the emergency chain to stop the train. He bravely assisted 60 passengers in safely disembarking from the train. However, due to inhaling smoke for an extended period, Raju eventually lost consciousness and was rushed to Bhuvanagiri Hospital. Fortunately, he recovered from that incident.
Now, Raju has fallen ill again and has been taken to another hospital.
